Perú
Peru, located on the western coast of South America along the Pacific Ocean, shares borders with Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, and Chile. Lima, the capital, serves as the country’s cultural heart. Peru is defined by three main regions: the Costa, Sierra, and Selva, each offering its own distinctive climate. The coastal area features a dry climate often shrouded in garúa fog, the Andes experience cooler mountain weather, while the Amazon basin is hot and humid year-round. The best time to visit is from May to September, when rainfall is minimal and temperatures are pleasantly mild.
