Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China, located on the South China Sea in the Pearl River Delta. It comprises the Kowloon Peninsula and several islands, including Lantau and Hong Kong Island. Home to over 7 million people, it is one of the world's largest financial centers. The official languages are Chinese and English. Average temperatures range from 16 °C in winter to 29 °C in summer. The best time to visit is during the autumn months, when the weather is mild and dry.
